A Bill Whistler story, this novella follows Whistler on his day to day. He brings in a fugitive, Sam Torres, more or less what he does all the time. Then the story leads Whistler to a local mine and that eventually leads to the gun fight in Silvertown. Whistler is at the top of his game in this story, compared to Sagebrush Vistas. This story uses a tried and proved western story outline that includes a gunfight.
