This Jake Colby story is almost exclusively about a man named Darren Brickman. Jake Coly plays a small role. In fact, Jake just keeps the action moving. This story is one of intrigue and mystery involving soldiers from the second Iraq War who are part of a clandestine operation inside the borders of the United States. When this operation goes sour, the leaders decide to remove all vestiges of the operation, including the human ‘vestiges’. Darren Brickman is a ‘human vestige’. But a vestige that fights back. Brickman kills the people sent to kill him. He then needs to escape to survive. The question is, does he survive?
